About

I build marketing for founders because I am one

I'm Corey Washington, the founder of Rishari, based in Atlanta. I have spent my career running marketing inside real companies, not selling it from the outside. Rishari is what happens when you take that job and do it for the founders who cannot hire someone to do it full time.

Corey Washington, founder of Rishari

 - The short version

Who is Corey Washington?

Corey Washington is a marketer and no-code designer who runs Rishari, a marketing studio for founder-led businesses. He has done marketing work at Salesforce, Teradata, and Amenities Health, advised startups on how their sales and marketing systems fit together, and built websites, online stores, and brand experiences for clients, including Judge Glenda Hatchett. He still does the work himself. That is the point of Rishari.

 - How I got here

How did Rishari start?

My career has been spent doing marketing from the inside. I've worked at Salesforce and at Bluewolf, the Salesforce consultancy that is now part of IBM iX. I've worked at Moxie, the agency later known as FKA before it became part of Publicis, and at Teradata and Amenities Health. Those were big teams with real budgets, and they showed me how marketing works when a company can afford to do it properly.

During Covid, I watched people I knew get furloughed or laid off, and a lot of them took the moment to start businesses of their own. They had the skill and the drive, but they didn't have a website, a brand, or anyone to help them look like the established business they wanted to be. So I started Rishari alongside my own work to help them, beginning with websites and brands for people building something from scratch.

Those founders kept growing, and so did what they needed. The website turned into email, then ads, then the systems that keep a business from losing track of the people who reach out. Rishari grew with them, and my work inside larger companies kept sharpening what I bring back to it. I still build for the same kind of person I started with: someone who bet on themselves and needs their marketing to keep up.

 - Why founders

Why does Rishari only work with founders?

Because I know what it is like to carry the whole thing in your head. I run marketing for a company during the day and run my own business around it. I know the version of marketing where you have the ideas, you know exactly what you would say to a client, and none of it gets built because you spent the free hour on payroll.

Big companies have a department for this. Founders who have outgrown doing it themselves have exactly one person for it: themselves. That gap is where Rishari lives. You bring the name people trust. We build the part that catches the business it brings in, and we do it without you having to learn marketing vocabulary or manage anyone.

 - How I work

How does Rishari work with clients?

01

Fixed prices, on the page

Every package has a starting price you can see before you book a call. If your project needs more, you get the full number in writing before any work starts.

02

Plain English, start to finish

The plan is written so you could hand it to anyone in your business. The reports tell you what happened and what changes next. If a sentence needs a glossary, I rewrite it.

03

We say no

If a project cannot be done right with the budget or the timeline, I tell you before you spend a dollar. Sometimes that means pointing you to the $1,500 Growth Roadmap instead of the thing you asked for.

Your marketing finally has an owner

Right now, your marketing belongs to whoever has a spare hour. That is why it stalls. At Rishari, it gets an owner: a founder-led studio that treats your marketing the way you treat your business. The right specialist works each piece, one standard covers all of it, and nobody asks you to manage anything.
